Chlorine-damaged hair?

Please help! So i went swimming 2 nights ago, and I rinsed my hair with regular water after swimming to get the chlorine out. Then I went home and took a shower (I washed my hair and let the shampoo sit for a little), but then my hair still dried crunchy and smelled like chlorine! Then I took a shower last night (shampooed and conditioned my hair), and my hair still smells like chlorine, and it dried a little crunchy! Is my hair already chlorine damaged? And how can I repair it and get rid of the chlorine smell? Thanks!!!
