How can I get my 10 week old kitten to be less wild and ticking-time-bomb crazy?!?

I've done some reading and tried things but nothing works. I've had a cat previously for 14 years no problem. My first litty was much more mellow and male too. My new kitten Paris, is bipolar! He runs and bites me constantly sometimes out of no where when I walk by, pet him, or am even doing my make up. All in my face when I'm eating so i will put him in the living room n shut my door and he will meow like how could i do that to him. He is pure Javanese breed. Always attacking,biting, and clawing at what ever is on the floor literally...the other day i was sleeping and he ran up my face! Claws n all to jump up on the headboard his spot. He seems needy when he is calm like a few hours a day.Paris licks my feet (wtf?) He has all his first shots. He wont let me pet him too much. Ive had him since 8 weeks.What do i do to control him?! No time outs here... I love him though but I can't take this abuse.Paris is far from domesticated feline, more like he could take on a wildebeest! I am a cat person, I chose him and i want him. But I want him to settle down about twenty notches :( (do i get him a Kitty friend?)
