How do I remove a stain on the wall made by a sheet?

When my boyfriend and I moved into the apartment we're in now, we had no headboard so we put the bed right up against the wall. When we moved the bed later, we saw that our red sheets had left a big stain on the wall. Now we're moving out and would like to get our deposit back. Any ideas on how to actually remove the red spot from the wall and not simply spread it around?
