Is this a good idea to boost the economy?

i have a good idea to boost the economy all the money that football baseball basketball nascar and other sporting events that bring in millions i mean billions they should not pay any of those people for a year there all millionaires anyways take the money from all of those events and use it to boost the economy its crazy that some sports players make what like 10 million a year or more
