Any advice on how to manage my 2 year old?

She is like no other 2 year old I've seen. From the moment she wakes up to the time she falls asleep she is go go go. I understand this is an age where kids will act up, but it's like she feeds off of my frustrations doing everything I say not to. When she is in time out she laughs at it and gets up every 5 seconds to run and grab the closest thing to her. Everything is a funny game to her. She is wonderful and so funny and great to be around but I don't want to be the parent who people think just doesn't discipline her child. I try it just doesn't seem to be working. She never ever just sits and relaxes and tv, she could care less! Which is a good thing, but a little down tine would be nice :) even when she goes to sleep she rocks on all fours hitting her head into the headboard! It's been going on for over a year. How can I calm my poor child down!
