Am I bad for accepting gifts?

I have a very good and close friend who goes out with a multi millionaire. A few times my friend has gone shopping with his credit card and has said "choose something for yourself and I'll pay for it and he wont notice". These are things which cost $300+.I always try to show my appreciation and repay her in my own small way. But is it wrong to accept those gifts?
